I have been a nanny for 16 years and started taking employers' cars there years ago. Then when I bought my own volvo I went to them because I knew that though they weren't the cheapest, they were completely trustworthy and reliable. Since then I have purchased two other volvos because although cars come and go, the customer service and thorough work that Larry, Tracy, and the gang perform is hard to find. I wish every business I dealt with were as great as Daisywagon.
Every time I go there, they print out a free thorough diagnostic of every thing my old car needs in order of it's importance and let me know how long I can wait or if something that's just optional. If they can't do something for me or it would be better for me cheaper they are full of excellent referrals. Seriously, it's so much harder getting a good repair shop than finding a used car, that I have three Volvo's.
Tracy and Larry are honest, skilled, never recommend doing work that can wait or skip, and are reasonably priced. There isn't much to the Volvo's that they don't know or have heard of. Unfortunately, my most recent Volvo, a S80, is not the same as the old dependable Swedish "bricks" and this may be the end of the line for me. Unless I go pickup an earlier brick, hmm, interesting idea Daisywagon went through a 'new to me' '91 GLE and took care of what needed to be taken care of, kept me apprised on cost, paid attention to my notes, and got it done by the end of the day for a reasonable price.
No complaints - will be a returning customer. I have been going to Tracy and his group at Daisywagon for more than 25 years 6 different volvos and I have virtually never been lied to, ripped off, or had work performed that did not need to be performed. No nonsense, straightforward.
