You are somebody who knows what makes a great story and has experience writing and editing stories and content and supporting others to do the same.

You love to collaborate with creative people to bring stories to life through words and imagery. You find having multiple deadlines and simultaneous projects energizing and present solutions when presented with challenges. You would relish the opportunity to lead a team of accomplished writers and editors to tell the story of the importance of the liberal arts and sciences. You will create something amazing every day on this job as you supervise and support the editorial team who develop professional and compelling stories for the LSA Magazine, LSA online, and more.

You will get to meet with and learn from some of the top minds on the planet in liberal arts and sciences and help tell their stories to reach key audiences. You will also work with our external communications teams to produce press and outreach materials. You will help turn quantitative research findings on business, economic, demographic and technology trends into compelling thought leadership content.

In this role, you will manage each project through outlining, drafting, revising, approvals, production and launch. Much of your job will involve drafting and editing long-form research reports. You will also work with research teams to build storylines, sharpen messages and turn quantitative analysis into crisp, digestible writing. One of your key tasks will be incorporating and balancing ideas and feedback from multiple contributors.

You will ensure the quality and accuracy of our research while capturing the right tone and voice as well as adhering to quality, risk and style guidelines. You will also produce short articles for both McKinsey outlets and external publications.
