Love this place! I am a frequent customer. Fantastic food, super quick with outstanding service. Always excellent service and very fresh tasty food. This is our local restaurant so we go there quite often. We always enjoy the food and the friendly, efficient service. This is a great Indian Restaurant and have been here many times. What I really like is that they do not use too much if at all MSG and they let the ingredients do the job.
I react badly to MSG so am sure about this. Naan bread is outstanding! We always enjoy this restaurant. It is a good neighbourhood restaurant but also a destination place. Food is good and the service is friendly and efficient.
Outstanding food as usual the chicken jalfrezi is the best I've tasted. Amazing food, waiters could have been a bit friendlier. Definitely worth a visit for a great indian meal. Whenever in London my wife and I try to visit Noor Jahan 2 for an excellent meal at very reasonable prices.
We particularly enjoy the Saag Gosht with the spinach retaining some of it's texture unlike some other places offering the same dish. They then cold shouldered us when we left after pointing out that they already had a service tip. I thought that this sort of thing had been stamped out but not here. Good meal spoilt. Very nice relaxed cosy place with attentive staff and excellent food and great value for money.
Would definitely recommend and am looking forward to eating there again! From the fragrant onion bhaji to the fabulous butter chicken and naan, the meal was delicious. I have been on open table for years and I have never left a bad review but this was bad over the top and I mean over the top horrible. Being fair the food was ok. They spilt food all over me then denied they did until confronted. Not even a free drink for the Indian food all over my sweater. Not even an apology or a dollar off the bill.
Really you can do better at any Indian food restaurant in the city. If zero was an option I would have given it a zero. Fabulous service. Would definitely go back! Best Indian in London. We visited with a large group - service was excellent and the food was delicious. Highly recommend. The waiter standing behind you and just wait for cleaning the table, not friendly.
This was my second time going here, the first time I had great service and was impressed with the food so I decided to take my friend who had never tried Indian food before. I made the reservation at , consequently when the restaurant opens again for dinner. We show up at exactly 6 PM and got told off because we were "too early" and that " they weren't ready. The attitude of all the men in the restaurant was certainly off putting.
They kept yelling and waving their arms around as though we were such an inconvenience being there at our slotted time. If you open at 6, then be there earlier to prep things! I will come back again because I really love the food, but if service does this again, I am done with you.
This is simply a very good Indian Restaurant. Good food, good service, relaxed ambiance. Nothing stands in the way of an enjoyable meal out. Tables are quite close together, so conversation is quite audible but this wasn't an issue in practice. This is the kind of restaurant that people come back to again and again. It was full on a typical weekday evening.
Second visit. I forgot how much food they bring! Could have shared a main along with starters. I had the lamb special dish which was great. Only ding is proximity of tables but it is London.

Waitstaff were not very friendly. Overall, with so many other Indian restaurants in the city, we wouldn't return. The food did not taste fresh it tasted as if it had been made a while back and microwaved.
The service was very poor and their English was terrible when my husband asked for some glasses for the sparkling water we had ordered the waiter said sorry sir these are the only glasses that I own!! It's ok if something g like that happens in a miscommunication but that was how it was for the 1 hour we were there.
Great food and ambiance as always!. The starters we had were excellent but the mains were only ok. Good service and cosy atmosphere. Best Indian food eaten in the UK, without any doubt. Incredibly delicated tastes. Terrible service, angry and rude staff. Tried to over charge me and my family. Food was greasy and oily. Beer was seemed to be watered down. I would not recommended this restaurant to anybody.
Really enjoyed. Good Indian cuisine. Great service. Nice atmosphere. I had a horrible experience with Noor Jahaan. I had a booking at 6 o'clock, arrived 5 mins earlier to find the restaurant locked. At someone comes out to tell us in a very rude way to come back at 6. I tried to tell him that I have a booking for he said we re running late. I had to go to the pub next door for drinks until 6. So I called back again to make sure they re open.
The guy who answered was so rude!! I had to call and cancel my booking!!! Which he didn't even care about or tried to ask why!!!! We were rushed through our meal at breakneck speed, and waiters kept fussing around our table and the neighbouring one, scooping up dishes as soon as they were empty. We had been looking forward to a relaxed meal.
The food was okay, but the haste with which we were served made us feel uncomfortable. We will not go back any time soon! The food never lets you down; we had to wait a quarter of an hour for our booking. The Noor Jahan is very popular due to the good food and value, so is always very overcrowded, which increases the noise level.
That is my only complaint. If you want to come after 7 pm , it's best to book. Service is very fast , the food will come to your table within 10 minuits of when you ordered.
It's quite a small restaurant , and the he tables are very close to each other. All the dishes were very nice, the lamb was very tender and tasty. The waiters were very friendly. Enjoyable evening, with above average Indian food. Nice ambience. Good number of vegetarian options. Good amount of wait staff. Wonderful food, great service and even cooked a dish for me which wasn't on the menu! Really good tasty food, great atmosphere and friendly service.
We would definitely recommend to anyone. This is a neighborhood gem for good Indian food. I know many friends who have been going there for years and constantly go back. This was only my third time there, but I can see why they go back. The food is delicious, the welcome warm and the beer cold! Good food but waiters have a severe attitude and are quite rude.
